The Annotto Bay Hospital was opened on June 21, 1950 by Sir John Huggins the then Governor of Jamaica. It is one of two hospitals in the Parish of St. Mary and is strategically located mid-way between the city of Kingston and the town Port Antonio (approximately thirty 30 miles from both points).
It is centrally located to the eastern end of the town of Annotto Bay with a bed capacity of One Hundred and Nineteen(119) beds. The catchment area extends from Castleton South East, Buff Bay North East and overall population serviced exceeds 100,000 persons. We serve an average number of 150 clients per day.
