Ann’s Bay Hospital is the Regional Type B facility for the North East Regional Health Authority. This hospital serves a population of some 163,000 persons (STATIN 1998) and is the referral hospital for the Region.

This facility is therefore required to offer health care of a varied nature, which is of the highest standard. Health Care in this context is more than the direct clinical practice. This involves the treatment of the patient and his/her accompanying relatives or acquaintances from the entry at our main gate to the subsequent discharge or exit of the patient.
